1911 Model T Ford

Mr Mark Parish whose father lives in our village currently owns the Model T Ford featured. Mark bought the car from Paul Stoddart who is the owner of the Minardi Formula 1 racing team and European Aviation.

Mark was given a lot of documentation with the car. Mr Stoddart bought it at an Auction in Monaco in 1997 and he only drove it once!

It is believed that the car, which is a 1911 Roadster, was imported into France from Canada in 1991 where it was a Concours winner in Quebec with a previous owner.

While the engine is from a later car and some of the parts are reproduction, much remains original. Visually it looks identical to the original publicity photographs although it would not have been white, it would have almost certainly been a very Dark Blue.

Mark also owns another Model T Ford but that’s “much” newer (it’s a 1913) and hopefully we’ll feature that one later.
