Roade
Village hall was built some 35 years ago, originally
it was of a prefabricated design, but about 8 years
ago it was rebuilt to the super design and style it
is today. |

The
Main Hall, which is: 17 metres long by 9 metres wide
up to the raised Stage area, is like all parts of
the Village hall fully heated, and there are full
Toilet facilities including Disabled. There are some
130 high quality comfortable padded chairs for concerts
etc and approximately the same number of "every
day" chairs for short-term use.
The
Stage in the Main Hall is: 4.7 metres wide by 3.1
metres deep with curtains and Spotlights and several
power sockets and is ideal for concerts (see the picture
of our Eduardo
Niebla Concert of 2003).

There
is a large Kitchen as part of the Main Hall which is:
5 metres by 4 metres and is well equipped with gas cooker,
refrigerator and sinks etc., plus an assortment of crockery. |

Just
off the Main Hall is an Annexe, which is: 11.5 metres
by 3.4 metres it has its own sink unit and many power
points, it can also be opened up to enhance the size
of the Main Hall.

There is also
a Function Room which is: 9.7 metres by 7.1 metres,
it is fully carpeted and has its own small kitchen area,
this room is ideal for the smaller private function
or meeting and is where our Parish Council meets every
month. |

Outside
the hall there is a public playing field on which
one can walk or simply sit and enjoy the Roade countryside
and outside the Function Room is a small-gated shrubbery
with grassed area that can be used by Hall hirers.
There are 3 All-Weather hard Tennis Courts with Tennis
Pavilion and changing rooms. To find out more about

There is also a Small Children’s
Playing area with swings, rocking horse etc.
There is a large
car park for about 60 cars.
